An exciting, stimulating and inspiring day of Empowerment is coming this March. The Endless Mountains Empowerment Summit for Women was founded four years ago, with the mission to educate, inspire, and empower women of our region in personal and professional development. Each year the summit provides women with a day of life changing workshops in addition to raising funds for local scholarships awarded by the Montrose/BPW (Business & Professional Women of Montrose). Last year’s Summit saw over 200 women attend. This year’s Summit is anticipating an even bigger turnout due to the partnership and collaboration with Dr. Alice Davis and the staff of SCCTC. “Our success and the community’s positive response has been overwhelming! We are extremely grateful to Dr. Alice Davis for her support, partnership and vision”, noted summit’s Founder, Gail Davis. The theme for this year’s summit is “Baby Steps to Success.” It will be held on Saturday, March 23, from 8:30 am – 3pm at Elk Lake Junior/Senior High School, 2380 Elk Lake School Rd., Springville.
